Did you read the 1st one the whole way through? I think it could be done as a feature story if you focus on the big issue of what happened (adults supplying alcohol illegaly to minors) instead of her punishment / trial and what she's being charged with. Right now it is isn't a feature but has the potential to be. The 2nd one is a good feature because it is a topic that relates to a wide audience, not just a select few.
